Invoking Dolores Invoking Dolores is a feature narrative that explores the religious customs of rural Mexico through the story of a priest who returns from the U.S. to his hometown in order to follow the footsteps of Mexicos leading exorcist. Selected Works Film Primera Comunión | First Communion (2006) Accomplishments Daniel Carreras short film Primera Comunión | First Communion has screened at numerous international film festivals and has received several awards, such as those from the Guadalajara and Morelia Film Festivals in Mexico and the Directors Guild of America. He holds an MFA in Film Directing and Screenwriting from Columbia University.
